First steps
1. Create an aquarium
Section titled “1. Create an aquarium”In My aquariums (Mes aquariums), add your tank: name, volume, water type (salt or fresh), biotope and set-up date. The water type matters: it filters the species catalogue and picks the default parameter targets.
2. Add your livestock
Section titled “2. Add your livestock”Open the aquarium, then the Fish (Poissons), Corals (Coraux), Plants (Plantes) and Invertebrates (Invertébrés) tabs. Pick the species from the catalogue: useful information is pre-filled. Add photos and choose the main one.
3. Enter your first readings
Section titled “3. Enter your first readings”In the Parameters (Paramètres) tab, enter your tests (KH, Ca, Mg, NO3, PO4…). After a testing session, the Enter readings button (Saisir des relevés) saves everything at once. Adjust the targets if needed: see Water parameters and ICP.
4. Plan maintenance
Section titled “4. Plan maintenance”In the Tasks (Tâches) tab, create your recurring tasks: water change, skimmer cleaning… They show up in the Calendar (Calendrier) and in the daily reminder.
5. Set up notifications
Section titled “5. Set up notifications”As an administrator, open Settings › Notifications (Configuration › Notifications) to choose Telegram and/or ntfy. On your phone, turn on notifications on this device from the user menu. See Alerts and notifications.
6. Connect a controller
Section titled “6. Connect a controller”Once your ESP32 is wired, declare it in Settings › Controllers (Configuration › Contrôleurs), describe its pins, then flash it from the interface. See ESP32 controllers.
7. Invite people
Section titled “7. Invite people”In Settings › Users (Configuration › Utilisateurs), create an account for each person with the right role: see Roles and permissions.
