Maintenance, stock and calendar
In an aquarium’s Tasks (Tâches) tab, create a task with its frequency (every 7 days, every month…). When you tick it off, the next due date is recalculated.
A task can apply to this aquarium, several or all: handy for fish room or RO unit maintenance.
The calendar
Section titled “The calendar”The Calendar (Calendrier) gathers the tasks of all your tanks, past and upcoming.
The daily reminder
Section titled “The daily reminder”Every morning, a reminder of today’s tasks is sent to your notification channels. The sending time
is set with AQUAS_TASK_REMINDER_HOUR (8 am by default): see the
configuration.
Water changes
Section titled “Water changes”An aquarium’s Water changes (Changements d’eau) tab keeps track of every change:
- volume changed, with the percentage of the tank;
- salt used: pick the stock item and the dose per litre, and the amount is taken from stock;
- Complete the task (Valider la tâche) ticks the matching maintenance task at the same time;
- each change is written to the logbook, so it shows on the parameter chart.
The tab shows the last change, the weekly average (as a % of the volume, over 8 weeks) and the number of changes this month. Deleting a change puts the salt back into stock.
Maintenance mode
Section titled “Maintenance mode”During a water change or a clean, the Maintenance button on the aquarium page stops the equipment you choose (pumps, skimmer, auto top-off…) for a given duration:
- a banner shows the maintenance in progress and the automatic restart time;
- +30 min extends it, Finish (Terminer) restarts everything right away;
- at the end, the equipment is put back exactly as before;
- temperature alerts are paused during maintenance.
The Stock tab tracks your consumables: salt, additives, food, resins, filters…
- enter the quantity and a low stock threshold;
- record usage as you go;
- below the threshold, an alert is raised and the item appears in the low stock filter.
Like tasks, an item can be shared between several aquariums.
