Equipment and energy
Equipment
Section titled “Equipment”An aquarium’s Equipment (Équipements) tab lists the controlled hardware: return pump, flow, skimmer, heater, chiller, ATO, RO unit, lighting, other. Each piece of equipment is wired to a controller relay.
- Automatic mode: rules decide.
- Manual mode: you stay in control, except for safety locks.
The maximum run time (in minutes, optional) switches the equipment off beyond it, whatever started it: a rule, the app, Home Assistant or a restart after a power cut. The equipment then goes to manual mode, so that a rule doesn’t start it again straight away, and a notification is sent. Handy for an RO unit or a refill pump. The ATO keeps its own safety cut-off, in seconds.
The Groups (Groupes) tab brings several devices together so you can act on all of them at once.
Wear and maintenance
Section titled “Wear and maintenance”AquasManager adds up each device’s running hours from its actual starts. To schedule maintenance:
- set an interval in hours and a label (“Clean the skimmer”);
- when it falls due, a task is created automatically in maintenance;
- once the maintenance is done, the counter starts again from zero.
Power consumption
Section titled “Power consumption”Enter the device’s power (in watts) and the price per kWh of your contract. AquasManager shows its consumption and cost over the last 30 days, computed from running time.
Every start and stop is recorded, with its cause.
On the dashboard, the Activations card (Déclenchements) tracks an ATO or an RO unit: number of runs, total and average duration, and a chart of the latest durations. The RO water reserve card (Réserve d’eau osmosée) shows the RO unit’s last refill; tap it to open its full history.
