Frags and purchase documents

The frag section is there to keep simple traceability: where each frag comes from, how it’s doing, and which documents prove where your corals come from.

The Frags (Boutures) page manages your frags in batches. A batch is linked to its mother colony (a coral in one of your tanks) and has a quantity.

  • Adjust the quantity with + / − or by typing it.
  • Every movement is recorded: addition, loss, gift… The reason stays editable.
  • Record a loss with the batch’s − button, or through the ⋮ › Record a loss menu (Déclarer une perte: number of frags, loss or gift, note): it counts in the survival rate.
  • Survival tracking per species and per mother colony shows which corals frag best.

The Purchase documents (Documents d’achat) page stores your invoices, received certificates and CITES permits, to prove where your specimens come from if you’re ever inspected:

  • a document groups one or more files (PDF or photos, 20 MB max each);
  • it’s linked to one or more corals, invertebrates (clams…) or fish; clicking a linked specimen opens its aquarium’s list filtered on it;
  • it carries one or several CITES numbers (press Enter after each): corals carrying one of these numbers are linked automatically, and so is a coral entered later with that number (case, spaces and dashes ignored). A link removed by hand doesn’t come back;
  • each number can be associated with a species from the coral catalogue: when adding a coral of that species (picked from the catalogue), its CITES number is filled in automatically, or offered as a choice if there are several;
  • coral and invertebrate records show their documents;
  • from a frag, Origin documents (“⋮” menu) opens those of its mother colony;
  • Download all creates a ZIP archive with an index.
